Us UK Somalis are a hunted specie, we can’t go a day without being blamed for every problem in the Somali community, so please leave us alone in this thread.

UK folks, why does Lidl’s brakery taste so good, I’m still yet too taste everything but damn the cheese pastries and the croissants :banderas:

Have you guys tried it yet?

Trust me, the croissants i get at least once a week.

They are very fresh compared to other supermarkets and are worth every penny.

I used to pick up their cheese twists and croissants on my way out minutes after they opened!! If you get there early enough, it's soft and warm

That and the Sainsbury's Belgian chocolate cookies. Grab the back ones and

:banderas:

I went lidl for the first time in a year last week. They made some additions with the toffee yum yums. I'm loyal to Greggs on that front though

Sweetheart I tried one of their pecan and maple pastry, it’s heavenly. Love their croissants when it’s warm and soft. Sainsbury’s is usually double the price and dry AF!

I haven’t tried the cookies. I like the chicken bake from Greggs though, don’t ask me if it’s halal

Since we like the same pastries from lidl maybe we should go on a date there?

No I haven’t

Any recommendations?
The veggie pizza is really good and a decent size too. Also you can never go wrong with the chocolate chip cookies, especially the triple chocolate one. The bread selections are always fresh as well.
