Why do the actual streets never look look like the concept drawings?......I'm starting to notice a trend here.
North Gaalkacyo is miles better than Baraaxley.

Why won’t Rer Puntland settled along the Indian Ocean
From Baargaal, Eyl, Xaafuun, Benderbayla all the way down to Garacad would be amazing settlement
These interior towns like Galkacayo ain’t worth shit my friends
In the North the reason we don’t settle along the coast is because the Gulf is too hot but the Indian Ocean side is cooler

We live on the coastline aswell why not landlocked cities?

Maybe Bosaaso which is hotter than mars, the population along the Indian coast side is very sporadic
Because if you look around the world cities are usually located near body of water whether that is the ocean, rivers or lakes.
Gaalkacayo near the coast would be amazing
Well anyways gaalkacyo is a great city, development is already happening to make our coastal cities better like xafuun, bandar beyla, eyl, garacad,qaw ,alula and many more. We know whats best for our country Puntland and the people.

Could you show those developments?
Outside of Bari the people were nomadic especially Mudug which is why you don't see cities on the coast. then cities grew on the main road because it was the only lifeline but the future is the beautiful coast we have. Benderbayla and Eyl have huge potential for growth.

Gaalkacyo lies in a strategic location. Everyone coming from the north/ east and going to the south or vice versa, will go through gaalkacyo. This city has alot of potential.

Gaalkacyo is what connects the north and south, it's a strategic town. Coastal Puntland is nice but its either blocked by mountains or too far from the main road which is where most of the population lives. Way back reer baris used to live in coastal towns that were big at the time like Alula, Murcanyo, Bandar Ziyada, Baargaal and Qandala, mudug is nomadic region hence why people barely live on the coast there.
We're currently working on building roads to coastal towns and hopefully more will settle there
