I think what they find oppressive, is the idea of women not having their own source of income. Tbh, most cases in which a woman cannot escape domestic violence happens in situations in which a woman is totally dependent. Sadly, having no money of your own and a partner from hell is the worst thing.

Also, those that look down on housewives are retarded. Housewives are hard workers. I personally believe being a housewife is harder than going to work 9-5.

I don't know, how mothers go work and come home and look after kids, clean and make time for their partners. They are super women.

The 'superwoman' lifestyle isn't for me. Ideally I'd want to just have my own business in which I can work from home.

You're a good woman then ;)
and a pragmatic one. It must be difficult to combine house work+ your daily work and taking care of your husband yourself and the kids. I can understand why many western women prefer not having kids and being housewifes. I'm not old fashionned but i can be a provided if she's a great person and a great mother and wife.

Guys you should pay if your seriously like her. If that's not the case, then use the money somewhere more productive.

One thing I hate about a chick I'm dating though is if they ask me for money like I'm giving hand outs. I'm like, Nayaa ciirta iska sug :mahubowtf:

If I like her (which is rare), I would pay as a common courtesy to show her I'm a man and that she's secure with me. This is just in the first, the second or even the third date. The dates after that I expect her to have the common sense to split the bill.

If it's my dream girl, then I wouldn't stress about it.

I never pay dates. I only date gentlemen. Last time I pulled out my walllet and tried to pay the guy got upset, tbh that was such a turn on. A man who wants to pay for everything is hot

The bill .nothing wrong with paying the bill for someone your into or in a relationship with .

Thats why women love it when a man pays. It makes them feel she is secure with him and that he is a proper man.

Do you intend to work full time after you’re married? If yes, then are you going to be selfish and keep all the money for yourself or split the bills for your family?

Every date i go on bill is payed before she even knows it, had a few pull out their wallets at the end of the meal only for them to find out the bill has already been payed for, splitting a bill is kind of weird to me but then again i'm old school.

I am a man among men. A bit narcissistic, but I'm old school like that. My net worth is expected to grow in the millions soon. So the women I really like (which is rare), is going to live good.

First years of marriage when kids are not in the picture then yes will work.

When kids are in the picture would prefer to be a housewife until they are older. I would want to work from home though, the idea of not having any money of my own would be hard as i'm used to working and having money.

With regards to splitting, it all depends on whether my husband needs help with the bills. I've noticed most men that are financially well off don't ask their wives to help them with the bill.

I'd probably save up the money for future things like kids schooling and family holidays ect.

Of course he will need help splitting the bills since you’re from London. One man can barely survive on £35k a year in London whilst living in a shared house/flat. Let alone an entire family living in their own home.

My dates do not cost more than 10-20 euros, so I don't mind paying for everything. It's not like I give her much

Also, depends on a guys economic bracket, some are successful and do not need help. Yes, i know that is very rare.
