The "Republic of Somaliland" is showing signs of being right wing it has decided that these 3 individuals to leave the country because a native can do do the job. Where's the freedom, if a local can do the job why didn't they apply or ask before the employer went abroad.

What happened to being liberal, and having a neoliberalism economic outlook.

This is actually great news. We don’t need people in Somaliland taking jobs the locals can do when Somaliland has an 80 % unemployement rate.

Wow great news. No news of workshops, hospitals, schools, small factories consistently..

For every one good news, we somalis have this...

OP is becoming disillusioned with the whole SL project. Hmmm

Nope & some dumb emotional sentiment from the 1960s can't change my loyalties I'm just disappointed in this administration of not incorporation liberal economic principles.

How you gonna deport someone if they don't pose a threat people migrate when a job is offered and should be free to do so. We're supposed to be the land where everyone can make a buck of you work hard enough.

Walking down Hargeisa & Burco is full of people hustling and trying to sell.

This needs to be encouraged then moving up to manufacturing then the service and white collar jobs

You will keep getting disappointed in all aspects. I think hardcore loyalists like you would be patient enough if the SL government did everything barring recognition but it is obvious these SL politicians aren’t fully vested or they just don’t know how to properly run a government. Somaliland made thus far on the hard work of its citizens. The actual law makers and leaders have not moved the needle by an inch.

You will keep getting disappointed time after time. Word of advice, keep your expectations as low as possible

Nah so far it's 50/50.

There's out of all the ministers agrees doing a good job on top of a handful of others the rest are just self serving fools.

Somaliland is undergoing decentralisation. Where each gobol runs independently with assistance from the central govt. Kinda a little what Ali Khalifs plan was when he hosted a Khatumo parliament in Las Anod last year but nothing like that note like local councils.

The Sonalilland Developement Fund is managed externally after the Govt messed up the allocation so we're slowly getting better.

When something's broke you don't run, you stay n fix it.
