Pan-africanism is not for somalia

You will never convince the north african countries to this africanist concept. Economic yes, cultaral no. Good luck convincing them all on your ideology.

You act like we are insignificant, but if you go to the page on african union, the first list of languages mentioned is somali. Even though we are not that big in numbers, we clearly make a big cultrual and social impact.

From a trading perspective, landlocked countries like ethiopia needs to get shipments in and out for trade, and somalia has the longest coastline and is at the best strategic point connecting the arab countries and the indian ocean, so i don't think people have the somali exclusion in mind when thinking of a union. That would be stupid. Further proving my point that you think in line of culture and social empowerment while ignoring the most important factor, namely the economic.

You mentoning black in the west is so hilarous. Why are you inluding them in this process? They are no longer africans, bro. They can move to africa just like any chinese, white or others. But you have this notion in your head that this continent also belongs to you. I am not going to ignore the fact that you once came from here, but you have no higher claim than the rest of the outsiders in my eyes.

Don't get me wrong i like the AA's, but i hate when people from the west start to plan things for native africans like they know what's best for us. History has told us to never repeat this. You are included in this group also, because you are westernes also.

personally i am pan-human we should embrace our difference live and let live, i was bought up around whites,blacks,browns,yelllows or whatever other colours that would be used to label humans i have many close white friends and their well being matters to me, i see Europe as my continent as i have settled here for good now, my responsibility is to safeguard the resources of England:mjpls:.
again i am pro human, it might as kumbaya'ish as pan africanism but it's surely not as hate-filled and racial as pan africanism.

also why does pan africanism preach racism towards white people?? i'm pro black but that doesn't mean i hate whites,

That's the thing though. Anyting outside their phenotype is of course not an african native in their eyes. Note that he said "i don't think somalis are included in the mix" which exposes his ideology. We are simply too exotic to be original african, and must be a mix of rape or some shit. Fuc out of here.

His right though. Most pan-africanist Don't have somali looking people in mind when they talk about African unity. If this movement were to succeed, we would most likely be looked at as the gypsies are.

What you should all know is pan africanism was real, like when Haile Selassi was freed from exile and was even personally welcomed by the Ghana,Tanzania leaders if I remember my books. This was a guy who was skeptical about it at first and probably planning to ally Ethiopia with the peninsula but now the AU hq is in Addis Ababa.
The ideology started from here then turned into some downgraded stuff. Could’ve blossomed though.

You seem to have bought the Ethiopian prapogand. If halie selassi was really about pan-africanism, he would give back the ogaden region but he was instead busy with killing Somali.

Not propaganda, a fine example to show the concept. Pan africanism was there to promote/encourage cooperation between all people who live in and call Africa home not some ultra unity, we are one we are free hippie parade that we see today.

Has nothing to do with phenotype. All you have to do is look at the african diaspora in the west and you will see that its a big tent with all kinds of phenotypes included. For example you all have no idea what i looked like and would probably be shocked if you see me.

I would say culture, religion and empathy play much bigger roles than phenotype.

Phenotypes do matter history have shown us that. I honestly want African countries working together as long as it's not based on victimhood.
