That’s really not how “welfare” works in the U.K. it’s not dependant on our membership in the EU. Also England is one of the 3 richest countries in the EU. The rest of Europe leached off of us way more then they gave back to us. If anything British taxpayer funded “welfare”, for other European country citizens will stop.
So no we kind of fucked over Europe. Not the other way around. What’s going to f*ck us over is the quality of leadership of the cabinet that oversees the brexit negotiations. The likes of third world Eastern Europe have nothing to offer the U.K.
