Whites owned AAs as slaves. Have been racist to them for hungereds of years.
Have looked down on their styles.
They said hoop earrings were for ghetto prostitutes.
They legit suspened african American girls from schools because they wore their natural hair to school.
They have made multiple racist and anti black responses about the skin color of blacks.
They stereotyped Africans with dreads as automatic drug dealers. There’s more as well.
So now why is it that these same people who despised all this and stereotyped black people are now doing the things that AAs have done over the years. But this time doing it and not receiving any backlash for it.
Till this day the AA nigga with dreadlocks still gets stereotyped.
Until cadaan people start receiving the negative stereotypes AAs recieved then expect black outrage when whites people start culture appropriating.

It’s crazy too because Asians have an anti black history as well. The pale Koreans for example would look down on darker more brown Koreans and call them “Cambodian” and other stuff.

So what is the point of pushing for a multicultural co-existence if you're not allowing one party to participate and adopt elements of your culture? The more widespread it becomes the less negative the connotations and the more people willing to stand up for you. I would entirely understand this narrative coming from militant and separatist AAs. But it's not.
