Most industry men have to bend over. It's not shocking tbh, considering all the degeneracy that goes on in the entertainment industry. He's too wrapped up in that lifestyle now. Too bad for him.
Who cares? In the end, it is between him and the Creator. We will all answer one day. Therefore, it is pointless to be upset and annoyed by apostates. What we do need to do however is to do everything we can to encourage them to be persistent in their deen and to tackle apostates the right way, with profound arguments and decision when defending our faith from untruth and mocking. Not by violence or foulmouthing back.
Except the "right" way to tackle apostates can in some instances be through the use of violence. Under the rule of an Islamic court, apostasy is punishable by death, justified by various ahadith. Luckily for Zayn, he lives in a secular country.
So are you against the death penalty in general or only for the rulings of apostates in shariah
I don't have a hard position on the death penalty in general tbh, it's a complicated issue. However I do find it very difficult to understand how you can justify the death penalty for someone who changes their beliefs
Not entirely, no.So you aren’t against the death penalty, right?
Not entirely, no.
Yes I am. If someone says a murderer deserves capital punishment then you could make rational arguments as to why that is. How can you justify the prescription of the death penalty for someone who simply doesn't share the same beliefs as you? One is a punishment for an abhorrent crime and the other is a suppression of religious freedom and independent thinking.Lol then you aren’t any better than people who believe you should kill apostates.

What you consider rational is subjective. Just because you believe you could make a rational argument for the dealth penalty of murders doesn’t mean that everyone else believes it’s rational. Also, you’re imposing your subjective believe that murder is an abhorrent crime.
Using that logic, everything is subjective and therefore there is no reason to have laws. But we need to create some if we want to live in a peaceful society. How do we come up with these laws? We do so by discussing things with other people. Subjectivity is something that is influenced by personal feelings. Most people don't want to lose a loved one, therefore is it not reasonable to install a punishment for murderers to deter them from doing so, in order to have an overall happy society?
One could also come to the conclusion that our morality comes from god but then the burden of proof is on you to prove that your god exists. If what a person considers rational is subjective, doesn't that mean that by definition you can't prove god's existence as absolute rationality doesn't exist? Your faith will be a subjectively based one and if that's the case, then you can't justify your morality as an absolute one.
