Saw this last year. I think it’s a 3 part series about Germany after the war and how Germans were treated.

Germans are the luckiest people. Try to take over the world twice and kill 100 million white people and instead of being annihilated after you lose America just rebuilds your country for you. The joys of being white I guess...:gucciwhat:

No they were severely punished after the WW1 in the treaty of Versailles. The harsh treatment of Germans and the repercussions they faced is one of tge major reasons why the WW2 happened. The Germans were basically fed up and started everyone that punished them.

Repercussions does not work on strong willed nations like Germany, and Japan. You have to treat them like equals or they will f*ck you up. Germany and Japan were rebuild not out of kindness but ut was a strategic choice.

@Saalax Bidaar who is your favourite modern general? If Hitler, who was a low ranking corporal, did not interfere in the strategy of Von Mannstein, Germans would have won. Because of Hitler's interference, the invasion of stalingrad was delayed until the winter. The harsh weather favoured the russians (von mannstein didnt even want to invade stalingrad, but hitler hated that place because of its name, STALINgrad.) What a dumb reason to change strategies.

You are absolutely right sxb
Hitler was blessed with the finest fighting force the world has seen. They were ahead of their time In every aspect; their training, uniforms, weapons, and technology. They invented the first automatic rifle, The StG 44 in which the AK 47’s design largely derives from. They developed stealth to combat the British’s use of the Radar system, they developed the first Jet fighter, and first Missiles used in war (The V1 and V2) . Too bad neither the StG 44 nor The Storm bird were mass produced and only few were in service by wars end. It could have made some difference.

If Hitler had only listened and stuck to the original plan,I Think things would have gone differently.
As far my favorite generals. It is hard to argue against Van Manstein, hands down the most brilliant Field Marshal in WW2( Heinz Guderian and Rommel were also great)

I also like Zhukov on the Red Army side

Abdalla despite all that I gotta hand it to Hitler he did restore German pride after humiliation of First War.

Hitler did indeed recapture the spirit and Pride of the Germans when he captured France and made them sign the dotted lines at the same location where Armistice of Compiegne was signed in 1918.

What a G!

Manstien and rommel were the true masterminds. Hitler was not bad either but some of his orders were beyond doqon. For example, he ordered Paulus to keep on fighting when they were low on supplies in stalingrad and hence were encircled. They sent many requests of air drops and hitler kept on refusing. Finally, zukhovs men captured him and Paulus surrendered with manstien retreating

what would the world be like if hitler won, thoughts.

Not as your told. Somalia would still be under italian rule and we wont face genocide like these cadaans tell us
how can you be certain that we would not be genocide. and do you think Somalia would be better of under Italian rule.

Note; we werent under Direct italian rule. Mussolini knew that the somalis were powerful and could easily revolt them after the events of the turn of the century (derbishes). He instead let local tribesmen and elders govern the area and promised the somalis their share of greater somalia. I respect Mussolini for investing in muqdishu and the other cities.

Zhukov could say no to Stalin. Theres a video of Von Manstein visibly annoyed at Hitler at the war table @0.13

If the war didnt happen, I would be a luitenant by now or a captain. Definitely an officer/sarkaal.

I agree, Hitler did what had to be done to avenge the Germans. Sometimes you have to burn the house and let your emotiona get the best of you

If Hitler's saraakiil did the coup how would things have turned out?

This is a common misconception even if the Nazis took Moscow that would've have not done anything it's not like Stalin would've surrendered after that Russia is a whole another beast with the amount of land and people it has after all Napoleon took Moscow but still lost also Hitler listened to his generals that is also a common myth
He listened to his generals in operation citadel even thought he knew it was the wrong choice finally Hitler didn't want to take Moscow he would've rather take Kiev because of the oil in there most of the Hitler was a bad general myth comes from his own generals who just blamed him for everything when the war started to go south eventually yes Hitler started to override his generals like in the battle of the bulge after his mental health started to deteriorate

You are wrong. The plan was not to occupy Russia in its entirety but to take the Caucusus, which was filled with oil. The Germans easily defeated the Russian front and killed millions of Russians in few days in the operation. Halfway through the operation, Hitler splits the army into half, sending one half to Stalingrad and other half had tk wait. He orders them to wait for a new military gear, which arrived in the winter, months after the mobilisation took place. He saw how easily the Germans advanced and became cocky before they reached their objectives.

The Germans were desperately looking for oil, they even occupied northern africa. But they didnt know that north africa was filled with oil, if they knew, history would look different.

Yes that's why he went after Stalingrad and the caucuses to get oil he wanted to move past Stalingrad into oil rich Tatarstan I agree though nazis were doomed from the start with their lack of oil

Not relevant! but this talk of ww2 nazis reminded me of the best classic ww2 game.
