I’ve noticed that Muslim men in the West regardless of how religious they are, all want a religious virgin woman who is pious as a wife.
But Muslim women in the West seem to prefer a kaafir men or a Muslim who is as close to a kaafir as possible. They often say things like “Muslim men are misogynist, unlike non-Muslim men”, “Muslim men are less respectful than non-Muslim men”, etc. But no Muslim man would ever praise the characteristics of a kaafir female over a Muslim female.
You would never see a Muslim man who would thirst for a kaafir celebrity as a wife but Muslim women do thirst for a kaafir celebrity, and even if they don’t explicitly, they would say that they would marry him if he became a Muslim.
Anybody else notice this trend? What I find interesting is that our religion forbade Muslim women from marrying a kaafir, because she would most likely take after his religion, beliefs, traditions as he is the man in household, but a Muslim man is allowed to marry a Christian or a Jewish woman. Yet even though we Muslim men are allowed to marry a kaafir woman, that is something we would never do.
Wallahi in this day and age, Muslim men have far more hayaa than the women. The west look down upon us and hate us, whilst they want to “liberate” Muslim women from us and it looks like Muslim women have fallen for their propaganda. The difference on Twitter is even more startling, there are so many average good religious Somali brothers on twitter but there are hardly any average religious Somali women on twitter(no I’m not talking about those crazy salafists either).
