I know living in Xamar is tough. I am not talking about him deported, I am talking about him screaming and crying on a plane. Are you telling me if you were being deported, you shout, scream and cry, to point other passengers had to carry you out?

100%. Aideed could have been the next Siad Barre and Darood and Isaaq would have accepted it. But they started infighting, this caused Isaaq to declare independence and a mass exodus of the population.

Depends when you came to the west. In the late 80s if you said you were Isaaq it was easy to get a sharci especially in Europe (UK) and Canada. Also anyone with Isaaq reer abti claimed their abtiyaals clan. Many former regime colonels who participated in crimes in the north even claimed Isaaq when they defected to the west.

After 1991 Darood, Hawiye and Rahanweyn came into the picture which all had legitmate claims. Remember Rahanweyn were being starved, Darood cleansings in the south and Hawiye were butchering each other in addition to cleansing the capital of non-Hawiye.

Minority clans were especially popular after 91 if you said stuff like Madhibhan, Gabooye, Tuumaal usually instant access. I'd argue most Somalis especially after mid 90s came in these categories.

yes I totally agree but MJs left somalia as eary as 70s but it was mostly upperclass ones since Barre was hunting mjs, but true most left early 90s.

Hawiye had no claims to seel asylum IMO, they ruined Mogadishu lmao this just proves they needed Barre to rule over them. In an ideal situation they could have ruled Somalia after overthrowing Barre, but they started to kill innocent ppl then at least they could have livef peacefully with each other there but no they turned on each other:drakewtf:
