What makes this worse is Texas has common marriage law so if you live in the same house hold with a woman for more than 9 months she's gets the same rights as females who are married.
You can ditch them as long as your not behind in child support.

You are mixing apples and oranges. Fathers who didn’t pay child support and stopped at the airport is in Australia. These are legal fathers who refuse to pay child support to their own children.
In the Michigan case, I skim read an article that quoted 3 fathers forced to pay Child support to kids they claim aren’t theirs because they were either in jail or refused to attend the court case and were judged as fathers by default.
