Yeah i was surprised.
Many Somali Women were told by stinky Arabic women that perfume is haram. Clearly smelling like a sheep is better for them.
They mean outside the house not inside though
But why stink outside the house?
Im sure they take showers and use deodorant. They just dont wash in perfume....having said that I havent gone around and smelled them so I could be wrong

I think you are confused. Perfume makes you smell good if you are already clean; it doesn't replace hygiene. If someone stinks its because they don't shower or clean themselves well.

My dad is very religious and always told me not wear perfume outside, but I did anyway. He also didn’t like it when I used sweet smelling soaps and would complain of the smell. He always sprays two bottles of perfume on himself till my nose hurts but always told me it was a sin if anyone else could smell my perfume

I don’t blame them tbh. Why does this rule only apply to women? We can’t see women, smell women and sometimes they are against hearing a woman’s voice. It’s almost as if they want women to disappear.
Also, what counts as perfume as skincare, clothing detergent, and deodorant all include perfume. Also the idea that people only smell because they don’t wash is simply not true. Most adults have active sweat glands only made worse by them covering up in humid places. It’s better to smell good than make other people feel uncomfortable with your stench. Wallahi I’ve seen so many Somali women who smell bad and now I guess I know why.
No one is saying its haram to smell good or that you cant wear deodorant or light fragrances. But spritzing on perfume that lingers as you saunter down the street is a no no. You know, If you clean yourself well, even if you sweat it won't stink. My sweat smells like baby sweat because my pits are so clean
I dont wear deodorant because its toxic, but I apply lemons and dry off with baby powder and a touch of attar. I hate how all these chemicals are always thrust upon us. It cant be healthy. My armpits were so bad when I used to use anti perspirants- Status
