The guy will cut the head of living person and place the head into a corpse, and basically resurrect after killing the person.

He’s already experimented with corpses and some animals.

What if a person wakes up after they die? What is death if a person can be resurrected?

Only white people could do something so sick. He’s already experimenting with human corpses for donation. Basically mutilating bodies as he sees fit.

Will science triumph over religion if the operation is successful?

Religious people become uncomfortable because they don’t know what it could mean.

Do humans have souls?

And What is death?

The patient is immobile and agreed to wake up into a different body. A monkey who went under the opperation died after 11 days because he was confused and couldn't move his new body.

It is a philosophical conundrum isn't it?

If one believes the soul departs the body after death, never to return to the vessel that tethered said individual in the material world, then what should we make of this experiment?

Will people believe these people are soulless?

What is a soul at that point if the individual is completely the same as he was before?

If this experiment proves itself to be true, I dare say we'll have a lot to talk about.

Is there a soul? Is death the end then? Is there nothing after death then? Will the "resurrected" be able to identify what they saw after their first death? If it's the same as everyone else's after further research, won't this mean we'll have evidence on our knowledge of the afterlife?

If they all say nothing, does that mean their memories are removed? Or that they were nothing?
If they all say they saw the same thing, is it a mass deception? Or the truth?

I have so many questions!

I believe in almighty god and I have absolute no problem with break through science. I don’t understand why they have to be mutually exclusive OP? Please be respectful of other people’s faith or lack of faith :)

I believe in time it could be possible, not long ago it was unheard of having a heart transplant but it can be done now.

I think he's saying that the nature of death as a concept wrapped in mystery would potentially be unraveled.

I mean who owns the body in the next life? The one who owned it last, or the original? Is the head where the soul resides? If not, will he have 2 souls, or a soulless body? But if it's in the body, then it's not in the head, so does the guy who's head is in the body have his soul, or is the soul of the body in control?

I still have so many questions!!!

The Italian doctor has been saying he would complete the head transplant by December 2017.
I want to know what’s delaying him.

And majority if not all surgeons think this guy is crazy. It still hasn't successfully been tested on an animal and he thinks he can do it to a human.

I heard about the Italian doctor last year and he couldn’t get permission to carry out his experiments in the E.U due to pressure exerted by the religious establishment and in particular the Catholic Church, therefore he moved to Russia or China (I’m not sure which) and is cooperating with Professors engaged in similar research.

Lol he wasn’t planning on doing it in Italy. He was going to do it China with large groups of Chinese surgeons.

What's new? they can even probably clone whole bodies by now. The only difference is thye are an abomination to the lord and will have no souls.

:faysalwtf:

Add that to early this year, Doctors @ John Hopkins University have successfully transplanted a penis and scrotum to a patient.

Exactly. Surgeons have become soo good. Its almost like the body have become a car. This doesnt work fine we'll get another one. Its like when they eradicate certain disease but another one comes along.

I don’t think it’ll be successful, at least not with our current technology and knowledge, but it’ll yield data.
