Sxb, add a bit of xaddiis and verses and you might scam some Somalis like Dabcaser, but with this kind of a challenge, you couldn’t even scam mrlog with dementia.

‭I understand your concern and starting from tomorrow I urge everyone to call or go to any xawaalad and ask them about the “War against famine initiative” or contact {*}Dahabshil, Dar es Salaam bank, and The central bank of Somalia. and ask if you could make a contribution to that initiative.

The five regions of Somalia are all under this umbrella.

Starting tomorrow afternoon*

This is a good cause and wether this man is scamming you or not you will still get the ajir due to the intention wether the money goes to the cause or farmaajos re election campaign.

Wars i think the problem may be people calling bullshit at the large amount your matching and the flights and accomidation your promising for volunteers.

Nothing is going towards Farmaajo’s relection

Nigga you rich? Where you getting the money to pay for people’s flights, food expenses and places to stay?

It was eight years ago today when the famine led to the death of more than a quarter of a million people – half of them were children.

I want to make sure that doesn’t happen again, ever.

For every donation made to the (Action against hunger Somalia). Or any other organization of your choice that functions in Somalia I will double that up to a $100,000.

Just take a screenshot and post it here when you make the donation.

Before you take my money, my friend! how do you propose to stop famine and drought exactly? in order to encourage more rain we need to plant more trees to help the ecosystem flourish and imo we need to re-green as much of the land as we can. We also need to bring back to life the nugaal river so that lush green vegetation can thrive once again in north somalia.

:ummhmm:

That sort of a challenge isn’t a good way to motivate people to be generous and donate to a noble cause. With this type of a challenge, even a person with intellectual disability could smell a con. There is no way, you could donate a dollar for a dollar for all donors. Charity should never be a challenge, but a moral duty for every human being to help others who are suffering.
I agree wars needs to get government backing from the somali government before he gains all my trust. But what's up with somalis being suspicious of each other?? i see white ppl donating like it's nothing to anyone and anything even for animals like dogs. What's gonna keep us behind is this mentality of "i'm not gonna do it someone else will" personally £1000000 raised by somalis could buy 1000 septic tanks that the government can place in every town/city that will clean water for reuse. They also need community farms back home so that the ppl can farm together and eat during famine.

Raising money is a noble idea, but War’s challenge that he will go penny for penny to any contribution to the tune of $100,000 is laughable. I would trust him (though I don’t) more than officials from the Somali government.

It's true we somalis need a reputable non profit fundraiser that is trust worthy so that we can actually trust that our money is going towards helping our ppl progress. Like i stated before i don't trust the government at all otherwise they would have spent some money on buying septic tanks to recycle water.
