Yasin 'Scott' Brandon Clem came to Garoowe just a few days before the start of Ramadan to wed a girl named Naciimo whose picture was circulating in the other thread accompanied by two local women from Garoowe who live with Yasin in North America.
He did his 'meher' with Naciimo in the US over the phone and then travelled to Somalia with the two ladies accompanying him.
However because Ramadan was about to start once they reached Garoowe it was agreed that they should wait and have the wedding at the end of Ramadan.
During their time together Naciimo decided to opt out as she told Yasin that she did not want to go ahead with the wedding.
Yasin was adament to marry a Somali girl and fulfill the reason why he came to Somalia in the first place which was to get married.
A girl called Ramla Abdi Ali then volunteered to get married to him who is also related to the women who accompanied Yasin to Somalia.
They got married at Same hotel in Garoowe.
Yasin or Scott Brandon Clem is 33 years old and became muslim 9 years ago. In 2010 he was sentenced to 5 years and 10 months in prison for shooting a 47 year old he was camping with in July 2009 along with friends for attempted murder.
