I once almost deafazz my own broski for him making fun of a star who had taken her own life.
I love life but we have to be honest with ourselves and recognize that there is a spiritual problem at the root of today's madness. Human beings are not well, we are not well and it's time for us to stop pretending that the European based post french revolution paradigm has been anything other than a collosal failure for the hearts of men despite the massive gains thsts the comforts of men have seen.

But I've lost so many colleagues that were non muslim. Not a day goes by where I don't miss one of my colleagues that died. However, the reality of Islam is too beautiful for me to leave Allah for his creation no matter how much love I have for people and their sufferng.

May Allah showed his mercy on his and we humbly submit ourselves to his word that he is AR rahman Ar raheem. Ar raouf al halim . Al kareem al wadud. That his mercy will encompass EVRYTHING and that he will give us and we will be satisfied. That he created men so that he could show mercy on them. That he does not have any need for our punishment. That he forgives who he wills. That it is not our desires or the desire of the non muslims which decides who shares the mercy of allah. That all voices will be Humbled that day before Ar Rahman.

Are you a revert ?
May allah protect everyone from suicide and the trials of this short life. What helps me get over rough patches is remembering that i have others depending on me and i could not leave them to go on alone. These celebrities sell their souls for wealth and yet end up lonely and sometimes wit no children. That is what leads to their depression, they end up with no support when loneliness creeps in. Rip to all who have committed suicide, i remember being angry at Robin williams for leaving his daughter and wife alone in this world but who knows what he suffered from.

Are you a revert ?
As a child and young teenager I was so religious. I felt as if every dua that I made was immediately answered and I could literally feel being close to Allah at all times. It was awesome.
However as my brother @Inquisitive_ has illustrated the surroundings of North American culture for a young man of African descent can offer all the wrong outlets for teenage angst aggression and desire to fit in. As a result, I steered away from Deen and education and into thuggery and debauchery.
By the grace of Allah and through some extremely powerful spiritual experiences (some of which can be found at https://www.somalispot.com/threads/spiritual-experiences-thread.41853/ ) I came close to my Deen again and have seen nothing but spiritual benefit since then. I literally feel as if negative things have been washed and scrubbed off me over the past 6 years and I have done nothing extraordinary in terms of effort. In that time, I have seen a lot of souls lost to the trap that haa been set in front of us by europhilia. It made me realize if they can Lie and oppress us in the midst of their own country what else could they be doing
An example: migos makes music that talks about slaughtering black men and selling poison to our unxles mothers fathers and aunts. For those efforts, they are rewarded with millions and fame. When they make a comment about makonnen being khanis, they are censured and made to apologize. It's absolutely satanic that millions of people's entertainment is the promotion of suffering and death in what is already one of the most oppressed populations on earth. These personal realizations, spiritual experiences, and incessant reading of political/historical/philosophical/sociological works have led me to the conclusionsthat you see expressed on this site.
The beauty of Islam, I would rather be castrated than lose islam because it is the only truth that challenges the system of Satanism that I see expressed in our lives on a daily basis. I know our lives are not an accident and every thoughtform that exists on earth is a deliberate creation..Therefore of all the expressed thoughtforms to have ever graced this earth and consciousness, islam is the most balanced and the most unlikely. The most transformative and the most challenged. The one that Lies at the intersection of antiquity and modernity. It's a phenomenon that belies all of the dictates of randomness and on top of that it has permeated my and other hearts. And I thank Allah for that.
