i spend to much on snacks and food. I would rather spend that money on stuff that can help people in Somalia.

Also I am really interested in feeding some people back home during ramadan since I'm gonna be working making extra cash.

You can't trust charities and NGOs. They will eat up all of your money with "administrative costs". Send money to your mother and father's family. Ask them who is struggling and in need. It is best to keep the money in the clan.

Don’t send to family unless there is a reason for it. Otherwise they’ll caajis and not help themselves in the long run. Support Somalia based charities like Amin ambulance and hospitals. Support Somali businesses by buying from them. Etc.
