I will not! People get what they deserve, I mean I witnessed a guy kick a kitten (baby cat) today. These people deserve what they got.

I'm flying out of this hell hole. I've done my tour of the qaarada inkaarta qabta. Goodbye
You should visit the occupied lands saxib , they are slightly better.

Safety is the last thing on their mind people sit on top of moving trucks and cars

Loooool damn right they don't give af about safety bunch of khat eating zombies. Have you seen the cars who deliver khat. They are unstoppable. Hooligans on top of the car throwing huge sacks of khat to each place while the car is racing.

Whatever I say about Hargeisa is nowhere near disasterrous than an AMISOM occupied city :camby:

I will not visit that city because I have been conditioned to be free man ( from my years in the land of the free). Therefore I might be shot by a Ugandese Somali female sexual predator when my nationalistic Somali blood boils and I spit on him

It's funny you mentioned this about the Bajaaj (not tuktuk here in Hargeisa). The other day I was caught in a monsoon (what kind of rain is this ? I mean the heavens open up and it rains violently ). I stood under a roof of a barber shop to wave down a bajaaj and after like 10 of them passed me by the 11th try was a charm. Dude stopped his vehicle and when I approached there where like 5 people in this little tiny thing :camby:but dude is like "soo fadhiiso in the passenger side " but the passenger side had an occupant but I obliged cause it was raining hard. Two of us sat in one seat :ooh:

The guy drove for about 1 mile before he his tire blew up:susp: and traffic was anyways moving at a snail's pace. We got off and I rolled my Nike sweat pants and drudged through pools and rivers of flood water. The whole city was walking. At one point we came to a raging floods where we had no choice to cross it but then the young men of us seen a way to walk on a wall:jcoleno: while holding to these pillars poles above and then we had to jump over an open sewage. Thanks to my athletic form it was chill for me but I witnessed some dudes almost drop into the raging water. I am certain someone had fallen in that attempt cause I kept it moving while cursing Africa. Needless to say I walked 4 miles to get to my hotel. Luckily my clothes are washed and ironed for free (I tipped the ladies )

Absolute madness. This sounds like a crazy adventure. The rains are something else, there was one time the rain was pouring heavily all night long. One of those small poorer houses made from cheap building material not quite far from where we live, the walls soaked up all the rain and crumbled down on the sleeping family. In the morning the dead bodies of the family were retrieved.

Somalia has its pro's but it's mostly a shit hole. Stay safe out there.

I like your last sentence, very true. The pros are there but the hell hole aspects of it is demoralizing

Be grateful that you have the luxury of flying out cuz im sure 90% of the people in that hell hole would love to have that option. And mind you this is hargesia which is supposed one of the more advanced and modern cities somalis have, So can you imagine what the other smaller towns are like. I noticed that people that came from bigger cities like hargesia and xamar tend to have delusion of grandeur until they get there and see the reality. Im from a small village in middle of nowhere so my expectations are never high.

True wisdom spoken :nvjpqts:

Where is the billions of dollars needed for this gonna come from. Its not like a port that generates money.
It cost the UK only 4.2 million for Joseph bazalgate to build 1000 miles of sewage pipes in 1856. That was only a makeshift sewer system built nearly 140yrs ago and it is still better than anything our government has been able to do with a 6 billion GDP. Economies are built on infrastructure and until we develop our infrastructure we are doomed to have a failing economy.

Do these ppl not like bricks? Or are they just too lazy to build anything?

Most Somalis have lots of children but make no use of them. If those were my children if they refuse education I would force them to become my personal builders and would build myself a brick mansion.

NOTICE TO THE READER OF THIS THREAD:

I am disparaging Hargeisa's road conditions, I am disgusted by it but DO NOT construed my anger with Hargeisa as endorsement of the rest of the cities in Hell hole Somalia. One city of Somalia is not better than any other. They are equally a hell-hole, backwards, mismanaged, disgusting, corruption filled and despicable as Hargeisa.

It gives me no pleasure to find these terrible conditions in Hargeisa or any other Somali city but it is the reality that is god forsaken cesspool that is Somalia
Actually Garowe is pretty good.

I don’t think shacabka care to be honest, East Leigh in Nairobi is the same. People don’t leave when it rains.

Most of the stuff I have seen of Somalia were mostly from YouTube vlogs. The videos changed my narrative on Somalia being a hell hole. But now I'm reading your experiences in hargeisa and it's pretty shocking.the fact they don't have a sewage system is just terrible.

i know people are considering moving back to Somalia and building a nice home there but I can't see myself living like a king while everyone else in my area is struggling to survive.
Have you seen diaspora members who moved back and have done this^

After a fact finding mission here in QAARADA HABAARKA QABTA I've concluded that:

The Somali people have no concept of collective ownership of places further than your home mansion walls. It is deeply engrained in them that the towns and cities they live in is as foreign to them as the Western culture of qoomu-luudhnimo. They cannot comprehend that it is their responsibility to have a civilized city with infrastructure and services that run smoothly.

Therefore I've concluded that the Somali men of today is severally in a state of savagery and barbarism. Furthermore we are undoubtedly fucked for the next 2 hundred years.

I am more than convinced that I am American, hooyadeed ha wasto Africa. :camby:

I would urge all of you to integrate into North America ( cannot urge UK folks to hold on to their citizenship cause they one level above qaarada Habaarka Qabta )
