The problem is that Ciyaal Kacaan aren't addressing the elephant in the room which is Ethiopia.

There's 100million Neefs next door and the last thing you want to do is sign a "Free Movement Order".

I personally like the free flow of goods because a Somali can travel to Uganda and import wood to build homes in Somalia, or a Somali company can export fish into a landlocked market ect.

The elephant in the room is Ethiopia and how the free movement protects people who claim "refugee status". If Ethiopia implodes when they reach 200million, can Somalia handle the crisis?

The Ciyaal Kacaan can't even secure safety for the movement of their own citizens, these Odays will take any opportunity to rub shoulders with other nation states instead of rubbing shoulders will locals and solving domestic issues.

I like the concept of open borders and etc. shit I'm down with the idea of Africa uniting and etc. but right now even if there was open borders what work would immigrants do?. Someone here mentioned their was a high unemployment rate. That's crazy. Youth are running away from Somalia, risking lives to go to Europe. They wouldn't be doing that if there was jobs and opportunities in Somalia. Unless the government. Can help create more jobs for people than than the concept of having open borders would be really harmful

It would be nice though to have experienced professionals from nice foreign countries to teach at the universities in Somalia. Produce better students. I Watched a small vid about a lady who opened up her own hospital in Somalia. She mentioned that one of her difficulties with the hospital were here staff especially the doctors. They weren't trained that well.

Pan africanism is bad, especially with nations that want to destabilise somalia, as seen from the Amison nations that refuse to leave.

This agreement is strictly on tariffs and has nothing to do with the free movement of people. Somalia will lose out on probably a million dollars or less as it is a net importer...inconsequential really.
