NATO is not only obsolete but a complete joke ever since Turkey joined (so basically almost the entire time it existed). How can Turkey be a member of NATO when they support and fund the Islamic State? They even purchase oil from them at discount prices.

Member countries are also supposed to uphold basic democratic principles. There is nothing democratic about this country. Erdogan puts children on trial for simply mocking him and he has fired and jailed and blamed tens of thousands of people from teachers to airport workers to interns for the coup attempt that he probably orchestrated himself. Turkey has also undermined whatever credibility NATO had by saying the alliance was involved in the coup attempt.

NATO needs to be replaced and its replacement must include Russia. All member countries must acknowledge that Turkey is a country that sponsors terror. Member countries also must increase their military spending. Some countries are not spending the minimum 2% of GDP on defence like the cucked countries of Germany and France but they prefer to spend the money on importing millions of migrants. It is an insult.
