They're still underage and the girl did not die. Executing them will be wrong tbh. Anything other than the death penalty would be fine though.

The ruling in Islam is clear for a proven rapist that uses weapons. He is a muhaarib, and this is the punishment:

“The recompense of those who wage war against Allaah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off from opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter”

[al-Maaidah 5:33]

You can agree the above, or you can choose not to. Completely your choice. But that's the correct ruling in Islam for someone who rapes a women at gunpoint/knifepoint.
