[Luqmaan 31:6].

also, one of the hadith showing music is prohibited is in Bukhari. @Aurelian I would be curious to know what it is you really believe in terms of religion and if you're hiding what you really believe. you seem more dedicated to undermining Islam than many open ex-Muslims.

there is even no consensus on what consensus is .consensus is very important since the whole of human knowledge revolves around it, but in the context of islam, its abused a lot

I heard about him saying he wanted to make a new madhab and I thought this sounded way too bold for him to say that... but I wasn't sure what exactly his new madhab is supposed to be about.
