One year ago this town was a island surrounded by a sea of Shabaab, Less than one year, they built a school, set foundation for hospital and plans to build a police station all using money that Al - Shabaab used to take as zakawaat. Plans to Build the road leading to Mahdaay as well.

@KawhiLeonard Thanks for the link sxb. Local's want it to be a degmo which is possible as population is definitely 100k+. Check out the size of the town and the surroundings on google earth. It's Miyi particularly is quite densely populated from all the huts I can see.
