Maydh port Jetty survey starts

Just looked up Maydh. Don't you think it a waste of money to construct a port there? Is it not more cost efficient to expand the Berbera port and repair roads from Berbera to the big cities/towns?

Nope. It will serve the regions of Sanaag and Sool. It is not that far away from Ceerigaabo, so it would be useful to say
the least. Berbera is too far away.
