Nice city, I was there 2 summers ago. I wish they did more infrastructure projects. They had a 30 year head start, Xamar and Garowe have outpaced Hargesia very quickly in terms of development in the past 5 years

Why is Garowe the capital of Puntland? Why not Bosaso which is much more developed and much huger with a variety of clans and is more strategic.

I never understood this either, but Garowe was nothing but a tuulo 10 years ago. The development is very impressive. Land prices have quadruple there.

bosaso is hotter and garowe has better farmland.
