Great thing it's on spoiler i think this is how ancestor worship began kkkkk. Probably began as fun and games and then devolved into a religion. I hope that this won't became a viral thing similar to the gender reveal.

This made me thinkโ€ฆ what are some wedding cultural practices that existed prior to the colonialisation in Somalia

@Internet Nomad

There was a good lineup of events at the day of wedding. Magalo and mii differed a bit but were similar in the grand scheme.
The Morning was feast preparation. After Duhr prayers was feasting. Followed by cultural dances till evening. The bridegroom been escorted to his house by men only( in Waamo dissoow and the Rabbi Sallii was the norm?). More cultural dance. And around midnight or early morning the bride was escorted to her new house with 'eeehooow'.
And after 3 or 7 days is 'Taddab bax or Todobo bax' or shaash saar and the xeero riddle culture was observed. In most communities across Somaliweyn the groom has to shave( Clean bald) it signifies something
