@Games, according to the constitution of Somalia, two or more regions can form a state, thus Galmudug being in direct conflict with the constitution. Galmudug cannot form a state with 1 and 1/2 regions. Both Galmudug and Puntland refuse to compromise and split Mudug in half. Galmudug cannot claim all of Mudug as Puntland already controls northern Mudug.

@bandit, Hawiye don't hold any influence over Jubbaland or Southwest State. They held both of these states back in the past and they are attempting to continue to do so. These states were formed by its people's will. With the support of the friendly states of Kenya and Ethiopia, they will develop and prosper in the near future.

Somaliland and Puntland are both politically viable and they have long ago separated themselves from Mogadishu just as Jubbaland and Southwest State have recently done. Dhulbahante need to either join Somaliland or Puntland, preferably Somaliland, if they want political representation because Mogadishu doesn't make any decisions on the ground.

Either outcome will benefits us so it doesn't really matter to me I just suggested the idea because is the less messy option

Hawiye are the weakest tribe in Somalia. Ugandisho means nothing, they don't even control it. I'm just waiting for the imminent war between Galmudug and Puntland.

As an advocate for Somalinimo and a huge Somali nationalist, I would prefer either Galgaduud join Hiiraan state, or Puntland give up Mudug to Galmudug.
