They can not allow SL to separate because the Kurds in Iraq wants to separate, same to Nubia in Egypt and Sudan. Tuareg and Berber in N Africa also want to separate, Christian.......etc it will be never ending circle.

SL isn't the same as those places but was actually a recognised country in 1960 when it formed a union with Somalia. Syria and Egypt united and broke away
