Ayshaca development plan will most likely pick up again. One of Ethiopia's visions is to transform Sitti, which is the 2nd prospect for cotton production in the country, into a cotton producing region with plantations to support textile facilities, either in the proposed industrial park in Ayshaca or in the Hawassa industrial park.

Good to see. rain feed farming tough and hard to grow profitable crops consistently. with irrigation and electricity they will stay put and make more money and less conflicts due to nomad lifestyle

While Mogadishu did an isbaaro on the African development bank project for the 3G road for garacad a totally unique pagan culture, even Ethiopia oo Gaal ah wouldn't do such thing, so what U think Mogadishu is?

445 fold increase of farming land in the Somali region alone?!!? Damn, I know that there were a lot of arable land than could be used for agriculture, but this is a lot. Unfortunately, it will come at the expense of Somalia with limited access to downstream water. Possible even dried up rivers.

Hopefully, the Somali region won't be xaasid and have some consideration for our brethren in Somalia :mjhaps:
Wwe have to make desalination plants across somalia. 12B $ would be enough to construct 4-5 mega facilities.

In 20 years time, the Somali region will be so far ahead of ex Somalia Somalis will start doing tahriib there for low wage jobs. The amount of roads, electricity projects, farmland development, irrigation etc is breathtaking. Daratoole is connected to the national grid, Daratoole. And it is expanding even further.

Think some of this is due to ethiopia having electrical issue. All the money spent on dam but country is having issues providing electricity to people and outside countires who purchased elecricity like Kenya concerend. Seems worldbank providing money because probably good return on investment for electrical projects with GERD dam
