He is nothing like Trump.
He wants way more skilled and unskilled immigration. He has no stance against Sunni terror. He wants to drive down wages.
He's all about the money.
He can't win an election. He can't even speak French. He's an English Québécois. He won't win a single seat in his home province. The only way a right winger can win in Quebec is if you hate Muslims or if you're a French extremist. The Conservatives actually increased their seats in Quebec despite losing the election because they wanted to ban the niqab. How can he win there? O'Leary has name recognition. That seems to be the only thing that matters nowadays.
If he wins the party nomination, he's probably to follow conservative policy with minor differences.
