He isn’t lying. People are attacking him for minor mistakes like 30 years but there forgetting the bigger issue.

If Siyad Barre was smart, he would have united and treated all Somalis equally and eradicate tribalism. Instead, he instigated one clan against another and favoured some against others until a big rebellion happened which ousted him. The reason why Somalis distrust each other today and the current mess of ultra tribalism can all be linked to Barre.
