Somalis are more used to females (although we still mutilate them) than they are with gay men, this isn't rocket science.

Ironic how some women think they can throw shade at gays when homophobia stems from and came long after sexism.

I don't care if you throw shade at gays sxb, throw all the shade you want. I just don't want you to forget that it stems from sexism so it's a bit ironic.

At the end of the day you can easily hide your sexual preference (which is very easy in Somalia), while your gender is always visible so you're pretty much stuck being a 2nd class citizen.

I'm out to practically everyone except for the local fobs and I'm not aching to wave a gay flag infront of their faces.

Don't feel bad for me. Feel bad for the girls back home that are forced to undergo a traumatizing genital cutting procedure and on top of that are forced to wear a tent at all times. Or even worse forced to marry their mentally ill cousin.
